Claudia Lapp

Claudia was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1946. After graduating from Bennington College, she lived for eleven years in Montreal, publishing and performing with the Vehicule Poets, and teaching Literature at John Abbott College.
Claudia has lived in Eugene, Oregon, since 1991. She has given readings in Montreal, Vancouver, the Northeast, Santa Fe and in many local venues, including TSUNAMI Books and COZMIC PIZZA, where she emceed a popular weekly poetry series. In 1996, Claudia received the Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Award. She has been active with the Poets Against the War movement, participating in readings and contributing to the e-collection edited by Sam Hamill in 2003. A recent obsession is rain puddle photography (SKY POOLS). The images are on sale as greeting cards & enlargements.
