A Blue Metropolis production, in collaboration with the STM Invitation to the launch
Blue Metropolis Foundation is proud to present the Poésie en Mouvement / Poetry in Motion project, a cultural event conceived by poets Endre Farkas and Carolyn Marie Souaid for National Poetry Month and supported by the Société de Transport de Montréal.

Imagine poetry traveling across the city of Montreal. Imagine poems aboard buses heading north, south, east, and west. Imagine words evoking and exploring the contemporary lives, dreams, and desires of our daily human existence. Such is Poésie en Mouvement / Poetry in Motion -- a moving anthology that comes to the reader, the daily voyageur, and touches his and her soul.

From April 22nd to May 22nd, the work of ten (10) Anglophone poets Stephanie Bolster, Endre Farkas, Artie Gold, Tom Konyves, Claudia Lapp, Stephen Morrissey, Ken Norris, Carolyn Marie Souaid, Ruth Taylor, and Mohamud Siad Togane, and ten (10) francophone poets Martine Audet, Claude Beausoleil, Jacques Brault, Nicole Brossard, Denise Desautels, Jean-Paul Daoust, Hélène Dorion, Madeleine Gagnon, Émile Martel, and Élise Turcotte will appear on 1600 buses criss-crossing the island of Montreal.

To mark the occasion, we cordially invite you to the official launch / vernissage on April 22 at 3:00 PM on board an STM bus parked outside Paragraphe Bookstore, located at 2220 rue McGill. (Tel.: (514) 845-5811).
